Colourless, water-borne and water-thinnable primer sealer that guarantees excellent permeation power, perfectly evens out porous substrates’ absorption, preserves water vapour permeability of finishing coats, reinforces slightly powdery surfaces, improves the adhesion and open time of finishing coats. Excellent anti-dust coating on bare wall surfaces.

Ideal for very absorbent walls and ceilings. Perfect before painting or applying a wall covering (wallpaper, fibreglass…).

Area of use

Unpainted indoor substrates made of: plaster, plasterboard, concrete, aerated concrete, cement coating and brick.

Can also be applied on previous coats of absorbent paint.

On powdery substrates, opt for our FIXATOR PLUS.

Avoid using our FIXATOR AQUA on wood or on shiny surfaces.

Method of dilution

On slightly porous/absorbent substrates: dilute our FIXATOR AQUA with 4 litres of water per litre of product.
On porous/absorbent substrates: dilute our FIXATOR AQUA with 1 litre of water per litre of product.
On very porous/absorbent substrates: do not dilute our FIXATOR AQUA.

Precautions for use

Before application: make sure to protect your floor because a fixative stain will not be removable.
During application: avoid drips because excess thickness of a fixative could cause cracks in the finishing coat.
After application: make sure that the surface is not shiny.
